WOSBlock's island system supports four distinct visitor modes, a full co-op trust mechanic, shared generator progression, and a physical Enchanting Table Guest Book that shows every visitor exactly who owns the island and how far it's progressed.
The island owner changes the global visitor mode with /is settings,
cycling through four distinct states. The mode is visible to all visitors upon entry.
| Mode | PvP / PvE | Block Breaking | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Friendly | ✕ Disabled | ✕ Disabled | Visitors can only walk around and spectate. The safest mode for public islands. |
| Carnage | ✔ Enabled | ✕ Disabled | Combat is fully allowed, but the island structure is protected. PvP arena setup. |
| Demolition | ✕ Disabled | ✔ Enabled | Visitors can break blocks freely but cannot harm players. Collaborative building mode. |
| FFA | ✔ Enabled | ✔ Enabled | Free-for-all chaos. Everything can be destroyed. High-risk, high-reward mode. |
The island owner can permanently trust specific players, granting them full builder access. Only the true owner retains the authority to invite or kick members.
Cobblestone Generator XP is tied to the island instance. Any trusted member mining blocks or consuming XP Scrolls contributes to the exact same generator level. Level up faster together.
Trophy Hall achievements are tied to the island structure. Any milestone progress or placed trophy head contributes to the overall island achievement level and the true island owner's server ranking.
The Clerk's quests are completely individual per player. Trusted members take, track, and complete their own separate quests from the same Clerk NPC. Quest rewards go exclusively to the player who completed the quest.
Every island features a physical Enchanting Table that acts as the Guest Book. When any visitor right-clicks it, the vanilla enchanting behavior is intercepted and replaced with a custom GUI displaying full island information.
Items that fall into the void within the island's claim are intercepted and pushed directly into the Guest Book's storage cache buffer - up to 27 stacks before overflowing. Nothing is permanently lost.
Right-clicking the Guest Book also provides access to up to 3 registered island waypoints. Instant fast-travel between key points on the island, completely bypassing walking distances on large islands.
The Enchanting Table was chosen deliberately as the Guest Book block - it's a recognisable, non-trivially placed block that players don't usually put in random spots. This makes the Guest Book feel intentional and easy to find on any island layout.
